Overview

This is a day wildlife safari trip to the Tarangire National Park in Tanzania. The park has a high density of elephants, which can be viewed year-round and up to 300 animals can be seen in a single herd. The Tarangire River has water all year round and attracts many animals for drinking during the dry season between July and October. This makes it an ideal time to visit the park as it is a haven for wildlife watching, including lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, and different types of antelopes and gazelles. The park also boasts over 550 bird species, including the Masai Ostrich. The trip includes a picnic lunch and an afternoon of wildlife watching before returning to Arusha for dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.
