Jozani Forest National Park

Overview

Jozani Chwaka Bay Forest is the only one tour that takes you to the only national Park in Zanzibar where our guests will have the chance to look at the wild animals from their natural habitats. The place is coated by thick mangrove forest and bushes. Jozani is also a habitat for other animals like bush-babies and small antelopes. After Jozani you will be taken to Butterflies center to see by yourself how production of butterflies is done.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Spice Farm

Zanzibar is also known as Spice Island, because of having a lot of spices.
Your visit to the Spice Farm you will be able to see how do they grow, how the plants look like, the production, and much more. Also you will enjoy fresh fruits from the farm and see a local climbing a coconut tree while singing a local song (Jambo Bwana). ( 2 hours 30 minutes)

At the Jozani Forest, you will spot different species of monkeys including the red colobus monkey (rare species), then you will visit the Plantation area and finally Mangroove Broadwalk.( 2 hours 30 minutes)

Day 3 :
Stone Town

Stone Town is one of the oldest cities in East Africa with a lot of histories from Europeans, Arabs, Indians, and others. During this tour we will visit and explore all landmarks in Stone Town including the Old Fort, House of Wonders (National Museum), Sultan Palace, Anglican Cathedral, Darajani Market, Slave chambers, Hamamni Baths, and much more(3 hours)
